Paint Process Do's and Dont's: WALL PREP
Before any project begins, there is a significant amount of set up and prep work that needs to be done.
Sanding; all walls should be completely sanded to remove any old roller fuzz, or any foreign object that dried into the walls from the previous coat of paint. We also sand in between coats of paint to minimize these issues. Sanding also helps the bonding of successive coats of paint.
JOHN the PAINT PRO – TIP – Sanding is a must!!! 100 to 150 grit sand paper recommended for this process.
